a raised access floor provides an elevated structural floor above a solid substrate ( solid concrete in most cases) to create a hidden space for the passage of mechanical and electrical services providing easy and convenient storage for wires and the like.

Raised floors are most commonly used in modern offices and specialized areas such as IT data centres and computer rooms.Raised Access flooring can be installed at varying heights from 2 inches (51mm) to heights above 4 feet ( 1,200mm)to suit services that may be accommodated beneath.
